What is Civil Club?

Civil Club is a committee of Undergraduate students elected to represent the Department of Civil Engineering’s Undergraduate student body.

About Civil Club

• Civil Club strives to improve the quality of the Undergraduate experience within Civil Engineering
• Civil Club provides academic resources including tutoring services which allows students in their 2^nd & 3^rd year of study to receive assistance from upper year students who have excelled in a specific course
• Civil Club organizes an AutoCAD workshop to help provide students with the necessary skills needed for any Junior Engineering position

Networking

Civil Club focuses on networking between students & Faculty in order to interact with each other outside of the classroom. We do this through social events such as:

• Welcome Back BBQ
• Pool with Profs
• Curling
• Annual trip to a major American City

Canadian Society for Civil Engineering

Civil Club is affiliated with the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering. This partnership will provide students with the opportunity to be recognized nationally for Undergraduate research as well as allow them to attend many of the organizations conferences to network with Industry Partners.
